Austin Area RISC-V Group

A community for RISC-V enthusiasts and professionals in the Austin area

About the Group

The Austin Area RISC-V Group brings together engineers, developers, researchers, and enthusiasts interested in the open standard RISC-V instruction set architecture (ISA). We host regular meetups to discuss RISC-V technology, applications, and the growing ecosystem around this revolutionary open hardware platform.

RISC-V (pronounced “risk-five”) is an open standard instruction set architecture (ISA) based on established reduced instruction set computer (RISC) principles. Unlike most other ISA designs, the RISC-V ISA is provided under open source licenses that do not require fees to use, allowing anyone to design, manufacture and sell RISC-V chips and software.
